    Scenes at the funeral yesterday in Berea of Lieut.
Albert E. Baesel, killed in action in the Argonne and awarded the
Congressional Medal of Honor posthumously in 1922.
    The upper picture shows the bronze coftin
being borne from gun caisson to the grave in
Woodvale cemetery.
    The lower picture shows the coffin being
drawn through streets of Berea. Automobiles followed
and citizens afoot.

    Three shots were fired. A bugle blew.
Honor had been paid.
    Two men
who won the medal of honor in previous wars attended the funeral,
One, Major-brevet LeRoy W. Williams, 1951 E. 66th street, crawled close to the Confederate lines at Cold Harbor, Va., in 1864, and brought back his colonel's body, under fire.
    The other, Major-brevet William Keller, 10603 Gooding avenue N.E., rescued several wounded in the battle of Santiago, in 1898.
